It is intrusive,wanting to know the health condition of president Buhari – Lauretta Onochie
Before someone,is said to be legible for the post of leadership,the people must be sure that he is of good health,good character,among others. This status help in the decision to know whether he or she is qualified and will be elected to any serious post or not. If this is true and acceptable,why would a person of Lauretta Onochie feel that for Nigerians to wanting to know the health condition of their president who has been away for medical treatment for almost 3 months at different consecutive times be an act of intrusion and dis-respectfulness? Why would she also say that the the only person who has the right to tell the condition is the president himself and not his media aide? What is wrong in wanting to know the health condition of your president?
In one of the sick leaves President Buhari took for London,his Media Aide released that he had hearing problems. Could Lauretta Onochie also say that that the Media Aide to the the president was being disrespectful to his boss? Well,even the president himself didn’t think so madam. What is wrong in wanting to know the health condition of your president?
Come to think of it : If someone says he is sick and is being taken to a hospital and no one cares to knonw how that person is doing,what will be said about the people and the patient? Surely no one cares about him,and probably,the patient does not deserve any kindness! How much more a person,who holds a public office,representing a community of over 170 million people and their resources! What exactly did Lauretta Onochie have in mind when she said that Nigerians are being intruders and disrespectful for wanting to know the health condition of their president? What is wrong in wanting to know the health condition of your president?
Nigerians are good people no matter the angle you are looking at them from. They always seek to know want they should know and that is reasonable. Except Lauretta has something else in mind,let her hide her intrusive objection now or speak more!!!
