Are you surprised that the Nigerian president,Muhammadu Buhari has again for the third time left for London? Well do not be! Before leaving Abuja for New York city,for the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the Special Adviser
to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had already made it clear that the president would be proceeding to London after the UNGA.
What is Mr.president going for in London? Well,his special adviser,Femi Adesina hasn’t said,neither has the Minister of information and culture,Lai Muhammed said or revealed anything.
From all indications,Mr.President is not just going to London to sleep for nothing as though there is no bed in Aso rock,neither is he in London to waste his time for nothing. If anything has taken Mr.president away from New York at about 08:07 am on Thursday,it must have been a very important trip for him.
In a new development however, Adesina has reportedly disclosed that Buhari will only spend four days in London after which he will return to Nigeria on Monday. Wow,just four days and the Nigerian president will be back to Nigeria!
However, we sure know that the president will be seeing his Doctor in London,to certify his health fit after returning home from his previous more than 3 months sick leave in London only thereafter to be on a hot seat presented to his government by Nigerian military and IPOB clashes in southeast Nigeria.
