I was going to ask why there is no ‘International Men’s Day’ as there is for women. Do we have no single reason to celebrate men?
The importance of women are seen in the various humanitarian roles they play at various levels in all walks of life,from home to offices,in market places,all over the world.The world where men rule most of the time could not deny but recognize these efforts and appreciates hard working women every year.
Men are never celebrated,and we do not want to ask ”why”?.
At the International Women’s Day celebration in Abuja,the wife of the president,Mrs.Aisha Buhari noted one major problem confronting Nigerian women,ladies and girls in society.
Here Is What Nigerian Ladies Consider As Their Major Problem As They Celebrate International Women’s Day,noted by the wife of the president:
”Some of our daughters are being used as sex slaves in the universities and nobody is talking about it and it is a major problem in the society. They use them as sex slaves from primary school, secondary up till the university and also they have started to traffic them through the mediterranian where a lot of lives are lost. We hope the government will do something about this” said the wife of the president,Mrs.Aisha Buhari.
”Our daughters are being used as sex slaves in schools and no one is saying anything about it” says the president’s wife!
First yes,no one is saying anything about s*x slave that happens in schools because,children in primary,secondary schools who are victims of this shameful conduct do not have or enjoy close communications with their parents,especially their mothers and sometimes,they are not permitted to use such words ‘se*x” before their parent. How would anyone hear? How would anyone do anything about it?
In Universities or high institutions,where the real s*x slave takes place,where lecturers use their students s*xual organs as if it is their right,no one is doing anything about it because,most times,students willingly give their bodies to their lecturers and beg to be used.
For some who are demanded by their lecturers to offer their bodies for s*x or risk failing their examinations,who would they report the case to? A school authority that would make mockery of female students and throw their reports into trash? How would anything be done about a case which no one in authority is willing to listen to? Nigeria female students are in big problem in Nigeria!
To show how unserious everyone is in solving this s*x slave problem considered as the major problem Nigerian daughters are facing in societal,even the wife of the president,Mrs Aisha Buhari who pin pointed it may not still do anything about it. Taking it as a project to achieve wouldn’t be impossible for her to do,but here she says:
”We hope the government will do something about this”.
Can you imagine that? And tomorrow,one other woman leader will still come out and say no one is doing anything about it.Who is the government? Is Mrs Aisha Buhari,the wife of the president not also the government that should do something about it?
